Grantmaker API

The API is a service that allows your grants management system (or any internal database system) to communicate directly with CDP’s technology. If you integrate the API with your system, you’ll always have the latest, most reliable CDP data from your applicants and grantees available at your fingertips. Request information on using our API at businessdevelopment@culturaldata.org

What's an API?

“API” is the abbreviation for “Application programming interface.” An API is a mechanism developed specifically for one database or piece of software that allows other systems to communicate with it. For example, Google Maps has an API that allows a business to embed a map of their location onto their own website. Behind the scenes, the Google Maps API is sending the latest map information to the website every time someone views the web page.
