SMU DataArts invites 150 organizations to participate in a study on Workforce Demographics to receive a comparative report on the demographic makeup and well-being of your staff, board, and independent contractors.
In order to participate, organizations must have a minimum total of 10 staff, board, and independent contractors. Each participating organization will administer our secure, 7-minute, self-report survey that collects demographic and well-being information - including race, ethnicity, age, gender identity, sexual orientation, and disability status from each individual. All demographic questions have an "I decline to state" option. The study will run from October 11 - December 10, 2021.
Organizations that reach the required participation threshold will receive a comparative workforce report that illuminates their strengths, challenges, and opportunities. The customized report provides valuable insights for organizations committed to advancing diversity, equity, and inclusion, and it aligns with Guidestar profile questions on workforce demographics, making this information easier to provide.
In order to support Spanish-language speakers, our survey, landing page, and FAQs will be accessible in Spanish.
As a trusted data collection organization since 2004, we are committed to confidentiality. Our online platform and proprietary survey protect the anonymity of individuals and organizations who participate. The survey does not ask respondents for personally identifiable information, such as name, email address, or phone number. Survey responses are kept strictly confidential. Only SMU DataArts will have access to individual response data.
