The Cuyahoga Arts & Culture report on the benefits of public arts funding on Cuyahoga County was featured in a brief radio piece on WKSU, Kent State University’s public radio station and NPR affiliate. WKSU interviewed CAC spokesman Jonah Weinberg on the boost the 2006 cigarette tax has given to arts funding in Cuyahoga County, which has allowed CAC to grant over $65 million to over 100 arts organizations. These organizations, in turn, continue to stimulate the local economy through spending on salaries, rent, and supplies. The report was created using data from the Ohio Cultural Data Project.
