Using Cultural Data Profile information from 410 Michigan arts and culture organizations, the 2018 Creative State Michigan report produced by Creative Many Michigan makes the case for the economic impact of the arts.
The report details the $1.25 billion in annual expenditures from the state's creative economy. The for-profit and non-profit creative industries together employed nearly 89,000 Michiganders, earning $5 billion in wages across 10,000 businesses. Read more.
