Jasmine Engleton, Ph.D., is a Cultural Research Data Fellow at SMU DataArts, where she serves as the research lead for the Black Trustee Alliance (BTA) project and contributes to other research initiatives. Prior to joining SMU DataArts, Jasmine worked as a Research Associate at the Justice Information Resource Network, leading projects aimed at supporting survivors of domestic and sexual violence in achieving justice and economic stability. Her work demonstrates a strong commitment to social justice and healing, using research and evaluation to better understand and address these issues. Jasmine holds a Ph.D. in Ecological Community Psychology from Michigan State University.
