Nancy A. Nasher and husband David J. Haemisegger are co-owners of NorthPark Center, NorthTexas’ largest shopping center and one of America’s premier shopping centers. In 2006, they were honored with the Dallas Business Journal’s runner-up for “Business Persons of the Year” award for NorthPark’s $250-million expansion and renovation, which set a new standard of excellence in the art of shopping.
Nancy serves on the Board of Directors of the Nasher Sculpture Center, a museum founded in 2003 by Nancy’s father, Raymond D. Nasher, which houses the Raymond D. andPatsy R. Nasher Collection of Modern and Contemporary Sculpture. Nancy worked closely with her father on the creation and development of the Sculpture Center. Nancy serves on the Nasher Foundation Board.
Nancy is co-creator and co-founder with her father, Raymond D. Nasher, of the NasherMuseum of Art at Duke University and serves on its Board of Advisors and CollectionsCommittee. She served as a member of the Board of Trustees of Duke University from 1999 through 2011. David serves on the Board of Advisors to Nasher Museum of Art at Duke University.
Nancy is a graduate of Duke University School of Law and Princeton University. In 1975 and1976, she was the Associate Director for Newsroom with Jim Lehrer, KERA. She began her legal career in 1979 as an associate with Johnson Bromberg Leeds & Riggs and was later General Counsel and Director of Leasing, Marketing and Retail Operations of The Raymond D. Nasher Company. Nancy was the founder, Chairman of the Board, and CEO of NorthPark Corp Realty Advisors Inc.
