Our Impact

“The Cultural Data Project will transform the way that mid-sized organizations look at their numbers. It is the greatest thing since wood fired porcelain. This investment by our state and local foundation community will pay dividends for small and mid-sized organizations for years to come.”

- Deborah Bedwell, Executive Director of Baltimore Clayworks

National Expansion

An Emerging National Model

Plans for expansion

Through a state-based growth strategy, the CDP seeks to establish operations in as many as 22 states by the end of 2014, engaging up to 70 percent of all cultural organizations throughout the country that apply for public and/or private funding. All geographic regions — including states with a large number of users and areas with diverse populations — as well as organizations of varying disciplines and sizes will be represented. As we expand, we will continually enhance the CDP to provide tools that benefit the cultural community, participating grantmakers, researchers and advocates.
