Our Impact

Testimonial Portrait

“The Cultural Data Project is a real gift to the arts community in Illinois. In addition to being a powerful business tool for arts managers and cultural institutions, CDP provides advocates with comprehensive data to make the case about the impact, assets and needs of the creative sector.”

- Ra Joy, Executive Director, Arts Alliance Illinois

National Expansion

Plans for expansion

Through a state-based growth strategy, the CDP seeks to establish operations in as many as 22 states by the end of 2014, engaging up to 70 percent of all cultural organizations throughout the country that apply for public and/or private funding. All geographic regions — including states with a large number of users and areas with diverse populations — as well as organizations of varying disciplines and sizes will be represented. As we expand, we will continually enhance the CDP to provide tools that benefit the cultural community, participating grantmakers, researchers and advocates.
