The Maryland State Arts Council has released their Economic Impact Report of the Nonprofit Arts Industry in Maryland FY 2009.  The report relies solely on information provided by the Maryland Cultural Data Project and demonstrates the tremendous impact arts non-profit organizations have on the Maryland economy, including $41.4 million in FY 2009 state and local tax revenue.  MSAC also parlayed the data into an informative Economic Impact summary postcard.
