The Philadelphia Research Initiative, administered by The Pew Charitable Trusts, has published their 2011 State of the City report, a “multi-dimensional, fact-based portrait of America’s fifth-largest city.”  Among the many aspects of Philadelphia’s well-being captured in the report is a section on the city’s arts and cultural sector, drawn primarily from data gathered from the Pennsylvania Cultural Data Project.
