The Arts & Humanities Council of Montgomery County, a member of the CDP’s Maryland Task Force, has revamped its advocacy brochure, “Invest Montgomery: Let’s Start with a Dollar,” which was developed using data collected from the Cultural Data Project. Among the numerous insightful calculations included is one showing that every dollar invested in the arts and humanities by Montgomery County, MD in FY2009 was matched by $14.26 in city/state/federal dollars, contributed income, and earned income. A wonderful demonstration of the dynamic, practical uses of the CDP data for marketing and advocacy for arts and culture!
